Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology
At The Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology, a STEM school in Myrtle Beach, I taught Honors World Geography, College Prep Government, and College Prep Economics. In addition to teaching, I served as a mentor for Student Council. The Academy is one of the best public high schools in the state of South Carolina. The talent level of students at The Academy made it possible for me to push students with learning college-level content through hands-on technology experiences and in-depth real world projects.
As part of Horry County Schools' Personalized Digital Learning initiative, my instruction focused on Blended Learning and I served on The Academy's Blended Learning and Technology teams.
